Captain Smart Granted 100k Bail
Host of Onua TV morning show, Blessed Godsbrain Smart known as Captain Smart has been granted bail to the tune of GHc100,000 after his appearance in court yesterday.
The controversial television personality charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace pleaded not guilty at the Circuit Court 7.
“He pleaded not guilty to the charge of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace under Section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29)”, the police informed in a statement.
The case has been adjourned to January 11, 2022.
It will be recalled that the TV host was arrested by the Nima Divisional Police Command over what the police described as “unsavoury pronouncements that hinge on peace and security.”
