C/R: Investigation Commences into Ajumako Ochiso Police Station Fire Outbreak
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has commenced an investigation to ascertain the cause of a fire that destroyed Ajumako Ochiso Police Station in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.
The blaze affected a charge office and quarters for personnel, according to the Service.
Aside from the buildings, personal belongings, and office documents were lost in the flames recorded on March 10, 2026, at 1319hrs.
Fire officers from the Breman Essiam Fire Station responded to quench the flames that were fast spreading to other properties around.
“The hardworking firefighters prevented the fire from causing further damage to other properties by containing and extinguishing it.”
It confirmed that no casualty was recorded.
