Black Queens’ Senegal Training Tour starts on April 1

The Black Queens will early next month set out on a training tour to Senegal, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.
The nine-day camping is part of preparations for the upcoming TotalEnergies Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
“Scheduled from April 1 to April 9, 2025, the tour will see the team engage in high-intensity training and play two international friendlies.”
The first game will be played on April 5 while the second game takes place on April 8 against the Teranga Lioness of Senegal in Dakar.
Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren is expected to announce his squad for tour in the coming days.
This training tour follows a similar one organized by the GFA during the February FIFA window in Morocco.
