Be Security Conscious This Easter – Police to Public

The Ghana Police Service has urged the public to be security conscious as they go about their Easter festivities.

It has directed residents in all 16 regions to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate security agencies.

“We urge everyone to be security conscious, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to the police,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Service noted that comprehensive security measures have been put in place nationwide to ensure a safe and peaceful festive season.

Among the measures, it said, is the deployment of officers across various locations.

“Officers have been deployed on roads and within communities to provide security for Easter activities across all regions of the country.”

Additionally, it said special security arrangements have been made within the Kwahu enclave to cover the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled events.

It added, “The Police Administration wishes you a happy Easter.”
