Bagbin Admits 2 Private Members’ Motions
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has admitted two motions on the Cathedral and the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP).
The private Members’ Motion were submitted by the Minority in Parliament.
In a tweet on Friday, the Minority leader, Cassiel Ato Foson, announced the Motions have been admitted by the Speaker.
The first motion seeks to drag Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta to Parliament to present the DDEP before the House for consideration.
The motion was filed by Cassiel Ato Forson, Kwame Governs Agbodza, Mahama Ayariga, Isaac Adongo and Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor.
The second motion requested that a committee probe the National Cathedral Project and all related issues for consideration by the House.
The motion was filed by Cassiel Ato Forson, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, Dominic Ayine, Governs Kwame Agboza and Helene Adjoa Ntoso.
In the tweet Ato Forson said he was glad about the development.
