All You Need to Know About 4 Players Replacing Partey and Co

Four Ghanaian players plying the trade outside the country have been handed late call-ups for the Sudan qualifier by the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo after he was informed of the unavailability of four of his 25 initially selected players.

The unavailable players are Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, La Galaxy right winger Joseph Paintsil, on-loan Eredivisie player Ibrahim Osman and Samsunspor forward Kingsley Schindler.

They will be replaced by Michael Baidoo, Abu Francis, Jonas Adjetey and Ibrahim Sadick for the third and fourth rounds of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament qualifier against the Falcons of Jediane.

The first leg will be hosted by the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 10, 2024, while the return leg will be held in Libya on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Ghana are currently third in Group F with just one point from a loss and a draw creating uncertainty around their qualification for the tournament.
