“I would like to take this opportunity to express also my gratitude to the Council of State, under the chairmanship of its highly respected traditional ruler, Nana Otuo Sriboe II, Juabenhene, for the great help it has given me in helping to steer the ship of state to a successful end. Nana and the Members of the Council, I thank you very much for your invaluable counsel.”

He also expressed his gratitude to the sitting Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Albn Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for his cooperation that made his administration smooth.

“Mr Speaker, you and I have made history of a kind these past four years and I must acknowledge the role you played in keeping steady, the ship of state and the governance structures of our country.
