Akate Farms CEO To Be Enskinned
The Chief Executive Officer of Akate Farms Trading Company, Alhaji Abdul Salam Bachewi Akate will be enskinned in the Upper West Region in March.
He will be enskinned as the Paramount Chief of the Bawiesibai Traditional Area.
Alhaji Akate made this known to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and extended an invitation to him.
He visited the Manhyia Palace on Friday, February 10, 2023.
His enskinment will take place at the Bawiesibai Community Centre in the Upper West Region on March 18, 2023.
He will be enskinned as Kuoru Baluganie Sapara II.
“Your humility and contributions have earned you this”, Otumfuo burst with joy upon hearing the news.
“You are soft, respectful and calm…I hope you have learnt chieftaincy from here. Go and implement it. I am confident that you can do it. Your service is what has earned you this.”
In an exclusive interview with opemsuo.com, Alhaji Akate admitted the new role he will be taking on is quite a difficult one.
“It comes with pressure. It’s not that easy.”
“As a young paramountcy, I have to try to put things in order for the traditional area”, he said.
