Ada NPP Supporters Against Ms. Sarah Dugbakie Pobee.
Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Ada have renounced the appointment of Ms. Sarah Dugbakie Pobee as the District Chief Executive Officer of Ada East for Ada District Assembly.
In an official letter to the President, the NPP said the decision was resolved by Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Council of Elders and Patrons in Ada.
The group cited among other things; her marginalization of constituency party from the district, her disrespect for party structures, her disregard for rules of the 2020 general election, her poor management ability, her unreliability and her arrogance as reasons for their decision.
“Her approximately four years in office as District Chief Executive saw marginalization of constituency party from the mainstream government surprisingly in favour of opposition members of the NDC.”
“Her blatant disrespect for party structures and constant expression of non-confidence and the practicalization of such for the Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators and polling station coordinators…during her tenure in office and especially during the election period.”
“Non-usage and abandonment of inaugurated Constituency Campaign Team. Never cooperated to ensure the successful implementation of constituency-drawn election program.”
“Her divisive, gormandizing, insatiable demand for self wealth making, to the disadvantage of the growth of the Constituency party.”
“Her deep involvement in the Ada Foah chieftaincy brouhaha that have affected the party immensely”, the statement said.
Ms Sarah Dugbakie Pobee was appointed as DCE for Ada East Assembly by President Akufo-Addo in the year in 2017.
