Ablakwa: Akufo-Addo Has 4 Directors Of Communications Plus 5 Deputies

“There is an alarming duplication of roles purportedly being performed” at Presidency, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has hinted.

According to him, aside from the known Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, there are three others namely, Frank Adjei Twum, Awudu Moro Kabore and Ali Adams plus five deputies.

This and many others, he said, were excerpts from the report on staff members at the office of the President submitted to Parliament on May 26, 2022.

Additionally, he said the President has two (2) Communications Specialists, three (3) Communication Officers, five (5) Technical Communications Assistants, a Media Aide, an Assistant Media Liaison Officer, a Communication Consultant and a Presidential Advisor on Media who also has a technical director to the Presidential Advisor.

Ablakwa also indicated that among the staff members at the Presidency is a Church Relations Manager and a Mobiliser of Diaspora Church.

In all, he said the number of staff members at the Presidency for 2021 was nine hundred and ninety-five (995), an increase from nine hundred and thirty-four.
