Ablakwa Accepts ORAL Appointment
The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has accepted his appointment as Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot Team (ORAL).
In a Facebook post, he said his acceptance was with a “profound sense of duty, integrity and patriotism”.
“We are grateful to President-elect H.E. John Mahama for the confidence reposed in us.”
President-elect John Dramani Mahama has unveiled a five-member committee tasked with recovering state revenue lost to corruption and holding perpetrators accountable when his administration begins on January 7.
The Committee, known as the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Team, is headed by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency.
In a statement on December 18, 2024, the spokesperson of the Mahama transition team, Felix Ofosu Kwakye said this was in honour of promises made.
Other team members are Daniel Domelovo, Former Auditor-General, COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr Martin Kpebu, a Private Legal Practitioner and Mr Raymond Archer, an Investigative Journalist.
