Three Finalists Of Otumfuo Foundation To Compete At 2022 National Spelling Bee.
The Finalists, Afia Frimpomaa Afriyie Danquah, Princess Cassandra Boahemaa, and Joseph Wiredu are set to compete at this year’s National Spelling Bee Competition in Accra.
The trio were part of the 20 students the Otumfuo Foundation selected and “intensely trained through the Spelling Bee-GH” back in June 2021, the foundation reports.
After intense training sessions and series of assignments, the students, Afia Frimpomaa Afriyie Danquah, a student of State Experimental Basic 2, Princess Cassandra Owusu of Prempeh Experimental Basic A, and Joseph Wiredu of Wesco Demonstration made it to the grand finale which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
This is part of the many Corporate Social Responsibilities the foundation has undertaken since its inception with the latest being the Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge.
This year’s National Spelling Bee will be held at Alisa Hotel tomorrow February 5, 2022, at the nation’s capital, Accra.
