I NEARLY QUIT SCHOOL FOR MUSIC – KOBY TUESDAY

The 1st Runner-Up for MTN Hitmaker Season 9, Dennis Nana Prempeh popularly known as Koby Tuesday has explained how he almost quit school because of music.
“I saw a flyer of MTN Hitmaker Season Auditions so i decided to give it a try.
I became disappointed at a point in time but i kept pushing”.
He said this in an interview with Mr. Black on Opemsuo radio’s entertainment Program Kumasefie on Saturday August 28th 2021.
“The Journey was not easy but by God’s grace i became the 1st Runner-Up at the end of the show”.
He added.
According to the MTN Hitmaker, he started singing at church at the age of 7. He developed the habit of listening to different songs so after listening to it he does the cover and friends started sharing it.
“I did a cover song for Kuami Eugene so people recognized me after i uploaded it” he said
“That was when i came into Maxxhype Entertainment and got signed so i officially moved from being a church singer to an artise last year” Koby Tuesday said.
The MTN Hitmaker disclosed that he is currently working with Oxi record label and having 3 singles out namely “Attention”, “Odo Pa” and “Adwoa.”
“Just when Odo Pa Song was released, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ( VGMA) was also coming on so i wanted to be nominated for the unsound category.”
“Luckily listeners nominated me.”
“Although i could not win, but i am pleased with the fact that Ghanaians have been able to recognize my works He said.”
