Sarkodie Awed By Ejura Riot.

 
Popular Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, with stage-name Sarkodie, has expressed awe over what the country is turning into.
Just as several other celebrities, Sarkodie voiced out on the matter in a tweet.
According to him, the country today is nothing as it is promoted around the world; the peaceful country.
He wrote, “definitely not the Ghana we preach to the world.”
Youths of Ejura in the Ashanti Region clashed with Security personnel on Tuesday, 29th June, 2021 which led to the demise of two residents.
This was, after a social media activist from Ejura, Ibrahim Mohammed Anyas was attacked by some unknown men infront of his house.
The youth of Ejura, after burrying him massed up and blocked a road which impeded traffic along the Atebubu-Ejura route, according to Police report.
Security personnel were however deployed to the place of the incident where the two confronted each other.
In footages circulating on social media, a security personnel was seen targeting some of the irate youth to shoot down.
This act has widely been condemned by many including, the president, ministers, celebrities and the general public.
