Michael Osei Aims Kotoko Return
Former Asante Kotoko player and coach
Michael Osei has not ruled out Kotoko return after he was forced to mutually terminate his contract.
The Star Madrid gaffer succeeded David Duncan after the former Hearts of Oak tactician was axed from the club.
But soon after Opoku Nti’s administration expired for Dr. Kwame Kyei to steer the affairs of the club, his contract was mutually terminated.
Speaking on Opemsuo 104.7 FM evening sports, Pramaso, Michael Osei revealed that he anticipates to return to Kotoko in the nearest possible future.
“I wouldn’t rule out coaching Kotoko again because nobody knows what tomorrow holds. I know I will come back again to coach the club I so love.”
He continued that “growing up at Asawasi a suburb in Kumasi, my only dream was to play for Kotoko. And when I was approached to play for the team, I grabbed the opportunity without any hesitation.”
The former Mainz 05 player in his short stint with Kotoko won Presidential cup, a trophy he won as a player.
The German trained coach is currently the Assistant coach for Ghana Black Meteors.
