Checkout Asante Kotoko First Team Players Who Undergo COVID-19 Test, Christopher Nettey And Mathew Anim-Kudjoe Miss Out

Asante Kotoko players and officials today underwent the process of COVID-19 test to usher them to start training at the Adako Jachie training grounds. 

Competitive football has received the green light to resume following the government’s lifting of the ban imposed on it on March 15, 2020.

The medical examination forms part of the requirement sanctioned by the government and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to precede the clubs return to training. 

The players who went through the process today at the club’s Secretariat include Captain and goalkeeper Felix Annan, Kwame Baah, Imoro Ibrahim, Wahab Adams, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Abdul Abdul Ganiu Ismael, Habib Mohammed, Patrick Yeboah, Mudasiru Salifu, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Augustine Okrah, Kwame Adom Frimpong, Sam Adams, Collins Ameyaw, Maxwell Baako, William Opoku Mensah, and Naby Keita.

Newbies who were seen include Emmanuel Kayeke, Mubarik Yussif Kwame Poku, and Emmanuel Sarkodie.
The players were the first to be tested followed by Coach Maxwell Konadu and other technical team members before the administrative staff who operate within the team.

Two key players, Christopher Nettey and Mathew Anim Kudjoe were conspicuously missed from the process.

The according to grapevine source will commence training tomorrow for the CAF Champions League as well as Ghana Premier League competitions.
