Exclusive: Asante Kotoko Supporters Corps Commences Fumigation Exercise At The Residence Of Kotoko Players
WhatsApp group, Asante Kotoko Supporters Corps has started fumigation exercise at the residence of Kotoko players to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The exercise which was launched on Friday, August 7, 2020, offered the Group opportunity to start from the residence of Goalkeeper and Captain of the team, Felix Annan, Ibrahim Danlad, Mudasiru Salifu, Abdul-Ganiu Ismail, and Samuel Frimpong.
According to the President of the group, Dr. Christiana Baah, a Medical Officer at Tafo Government Hospital, the exercise was geared towards the prevention and curbing of the spread of the disease.
“As part of our responsibility to help the Management of the team to ensure the safety of our players, we decided to fumigate their residence to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The female medical officer used the occasion to admonish the players and underscored the need to observe all the COVID-19 protocols.
“The exercise was very successful, and we used the occasion to educate the players to observe social distancing, wash hands with soap under running water, wear nose masks and apply hand sanitizer”.
The vibrant WhatsApp group has dedicated three days for this impressive exercise.
The outstanding task was partnered by Pasha Environmental Services Limited, a leading company in fumigation services.
