We Will Need Your Support To Succeed: Board pleads with Asante Kotoko Supporters
Kotoko Board Member, Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Genfi, has profusely called on the rank and file of Asante Kotoko SC fraternity to rally behind the Board Members as they seek to rebuild the Club to evolve into a corporate entity able to compete with other giants in Africa.
The Kotoko Board has spent a month since they were announced by the Chief of Staff of Manhyia Palace, Mr. Kofi Badu, to steer the affairs of the Ghanaian giants.
The high profile personalities on the Board is trying to swamp the vociferous supporters of the club with utmost hope that the extravagant Board will be able to achieve something worthwhile for the Porcupine Warriors.
Asantehene, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has tasked the highly revered Board to provide corporate dynamism and integrity, financial prudence and professional expertise that will rapidly transform Asante Kotoko to be able to compete equally with the other elite Clubs on the Continent.
The Board has also been assigned to assiduously work to rebuild the Kotoko brand both for its performance on the sporting field and as a viable and self-sustaining economic entity able ultimately to reclaim its pre-eminent position among the top Clubs in Africa.
But the Exim Bank Board Chairman, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi believes that in-as-much as it is within their power to achieve great monuments for the Club, they will need the supporters to hugely complement their work.
