“Akufo-Addo’s $1m per constituency promise real”– MSDI PRO

Government has refuted claims it has failed in fulfilling it promise of providing every constituency with one million dollars per year under the Ministry of Special Development Initiative (MSDI)
“It is a propaganda that is being exaggerated by the opposition National National Democratic Congress”, MSDI Public Relations Officer (PRO), Moro Awudu Kabora spoke on Manhyia-based Opemsuo 104.7 morning show hosted by George Opoku Mensah Agudey.
Addressing the press at the maiden edition of the NDC’s Weekly Press Briefing, the Minority Chief Whip Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka said after assuming office for nearly four years, and despite getting the most resources as President in the history of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has very little to show for his flagship promise of a million dollars, a year, per constituency.
“With all due respect, Muntaka don’t know what he is doing as MP. …Let him go to Asawase where is MP, Ejura and tour other regions to acquint himself with the truth”, the MSDI PRO fumed ruling out cost of projects the Ministry has embarked have been inflated
“Our toilet projects do not cost One million dollar. …Anyone who says so is exaggerating and that person is a propagandist”, according to Moro Awudu Kabora
