2024 Elections: Police Go After Awutu Senya East Shooter
The police in the Central Region are on a manhunt for a man who allegedly shot one person at the Awutu Senya East Constituency.
Identified as Mujaheed Suraj, alias Mims, he is said to have shot and injured the victim in the leg.
He is said to have absconded after allegedly committing the crime.
“The suspect absconded from the scene leaving behind his vehicle which is currently at the Police Station,” the police said in a statement on December 7, 2024.
It has since launched a manhunt for the suspect.
“The Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt for suspect Mujaheed Suraj, alias Mims, who allegedly shot and injured one person in the leg at the Awutu Senya East Constituency, in the Central Region.”
It concluded, “Police intelligence-led operation is underway to get the suspect arrested to face the full rigour of the law, and we want to assure the public that we will surely get him.”
