Reactions as Emelia Brobbey Releases Teaser to New Song

A day after announcing her fifth musical craft, Emelia Brobbey has teased her fans and followers drawing numerous comments, both friendly and not so very friendly reactions.

On Tuesday, October 8 morning, she served the teaser to “Nsem Keka” as breakfast to her 2.1 million followers on Facebook.

The song basically conveys a meaningful life lesson focusing on the betrayal of close friends and the human race in general.

Many fans commended her lyrical prowess, likening it to the crafts of rapper Amerado Burner.

“I can hear some Amerado Vibes in it,” many observed while others suggested she features him in a remix.

“Woww….the message is loud and clear 🔥,” Osei Kwabena Bryant commented.

“Make u put King Pauta on it, dear. This track is very dope and deep,” suggested another.

One follower by the name Francis Mensah, thought Mz EB as she is known on musical stage, is way better than other artistes in the country.

Akosua-Kwame Bony-Ansu Yesu Ba could not agree more. “Emelia Brobbey is better than Patapaa and Shatta Wale.”

Meanwhile, others encouraged her to keep up to perfection.

“Wow great message, good lyrics with sweet voice but poor delivery, off key. Just take ur time and make corrections sis. U will do better🥰,” Issah Rukiyatu said.

Evelyn Amanda Addo chipped in, “Singing may not be your strongest talent, but I appreciate your effort. Keep practising and exploring other areas where your talent shines.”

“Perfect from Miss EB. Thanks for believing in yourself. This mofos will criticise anything since they’ve got anything important to do,” Michael Nana Akoto Jnr wrote.

A handful of her followers disagreed she was born to sing. One of them was Antwi Silas who thought the majority of the commentators were not being honest to the actress.

“Waaaow this is banga hmmmmm nipa,???”

Emelia announced her presence in the music scene with “Fa Me Ko” which garnered public ridicule across various social media platforms in 2019 over her vocals.

At the time, she was advised to stay away from music as many thought she was not born to be an artiste as she claimed. She soon came out with another single featuring Prince Bright of BUK BAK fame for the remix of her song.

Unperturbed about the negative and discouraging comments, Emelia served notice about her resolve to stay in the industry.

“I would have had a problem if every Ghanaian had a problem with the song but I have gotten very influential people in the music fraternity who love the song to bits. What most people complain about is my voice so I have decided to use auto-tune next time if that is what Ghanaians want,” she told Graphic Online at the time.

She continued, “I have been preparing for music for a while and those who know me will testify that I have always had the talent in me. I have done a couple of movie soundtracks but I decided to go into full-time music now. In fact, I have a couple of songs ready which I will be releasing soon. I am also available for gigs should anyone require my services.”

Her second song featuring Kuami Eugene was warmly embraced by Ghanaians who thought she had improved massively on her voice.

Before her latest, she released ‘Makoma,’ which featured and was produced by Kuami Eugene in 2020.
