We Need Discipline for Desired Results Next Season- Coach Ouattara
The Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara, is looking forward to seeing discipline and hard work in his players when the 2024/2025 Premier League season begins on September 6, 2024.
This discipline, he noted must be exhibited both on and off the pitch.
“This season, we must be disciplined both on and off the field,” he asserted in a conversation with the Club’s media.
“Our success will be built on hard work, respect, and commitment to each other…Pre-season is just the beginning. The true measure of our discipline and hard work will be seen throughout the season. Let’s stay focused.”
His advice comes as the team commences pre-season activities under his supervision today, August 2, 2024.
The players and technical team will convene at the Kpobiman Sports Complex in Accra later in the day for training after taking up rest from the previous season and their last game against Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup.
Hearts will open the next season with a game against Premier League debutantes, Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobias nearly got relegated last season following their uninspiring put-up in the league. They were however lucky to have survived just two places above the relegation zone.
They ended the season with 45 points from 34 games and a goal difference of 4.
