Dreams FC Clash Against Club Africain This Sunday
MTN FA Cup Champions Dreams FC will be seeking revenge for a 2-0 defeat inflicted on them by Tunisian side Club Africain (CA) in their Confederations Cup campaign opener when they meet in Ghana this Sunday.
Currently second in Group C, Coach Abdul Karim Zito’s side hold nine points from four games played, having won three of them.
They have had a back-to-back victory since their loss in Tunisia on November 26 2023 where they suffered a 2-0 defeat in the opener.
The two clubs will finally meet in Kumasi on February 25 for the return leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
CA are leading in Group C with nine points from a loss and three wins with a goal frequency of eight and two conceded.
Ahmad Imtehaz Heerallal from Mauritius will officiate the game in Kumasi with the assistance of Ram Babajee (Assistant I), Aswet Teeluck (Assistant II), and Patrice Milazar (Fourth Official).
Dream’s last group game will be against Rivers United who are currently third on the league log with six points from two wins and two losses.
Sitting at the bottom in Group C are Academia de Loto who have to their name four losses in four games.
