Find All Holidays On the Ghanaian Calendar In 2024
Ghanaians have 13 statutory public holidays on calendar in the year 2024 per a communiqué released by the Ministry of Interior.
Alongside, the country has in store two commemorative days including the Africa Union Day on May 25 and Republic Day on July 1.
Except for the Eid-Ul-Fitr and Eid-Ul-Adha festivals whose dates would be provided later by the Office of the Chief Imam, the Ministry provided the various dates for all public holidays in the year.
Already, New Year’s Day has been observed but upcoming is the Constitution Day slated for January 7. It will be followed by Independence Day on March 6 and then the Easter holidays on March 29 and April 1.
May Day, Founders’ Day and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day will be observed on May 1, August 4 and August 21 respectively.
The next public holidays after these will be Farmers’ Day on December 6, followed by Christmas and Boxing Day on 25th and 26th December, respectively.
