Edem Recounts How He Knocked Down & Killed Woman With Car
Musician Denning Edem Hotor says he knocked down and killed a “naked” woman on Sunday dawn while returning home after his show-up on United Showbiz.
According to him, the accident happened when the woman bumped into his path out of nowhere causing his car to turn over in the process.
“On Sunday 10th December, the musician after his appearance on the United Showbiz has an accident on the Walker Bush way, where a ‘naked’ woman crossed his path out of nowhere. Edem’s car turned upside down after the impact but the artiste is very fine,” he said in a statement on Monday, December 11.
He said escaped death and is complying with the police instructions to get to the bottom of the incident.
“Edem has assured his availability to assist investigations when need be. Edem assures all his fans that he is safe, fully active and kicking,” he added.
The news went viral after he was spotted at the Kaneshie District Court on Monday where he was granted a GHC50,000 bail.
The rapper has reportedly been charged with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving as well as negligently causing harm.
