Girlfriend Arrested Over Man’s Death at Madina
The girlfriend of a deceased man has been apprehended by the police as the prime suspect in an alleged murder.
Yandeh Joof was arrested to assist in the police investigation into the death of Bennet Adomah Agyekum, who was found in a ‘pool of blood’ in a house at Madina, in the Greater Accra Region, on Sunday.
The police, in a statement, said preliminary investigations revealed that the man was found wounded but was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
“The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of one Bennet Adomah Agyekum at Madina in the Greater Accra Region.
“Initial investigation has disclosed that the deceased was yesterday Sunday, 8th October 2023, found lying in a pool of blood at a house in Madina and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead on arrival.”
According to the police, the lady is assisting with the investigation, while the remains of the man have been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
