Kotoko Begin Pre-season Activities At Beposo
The Porcupine Warriors have begun their pre-season training activities at Beposo in the Ashanti region.
Shots from their first day of training were posted on Facebook on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
The players under the management of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum will take on some friendly matches before their first game in the 2023/2024 betPawa Premier League season in mid-September.
Ahead of their journey to Beposo on August 7, the Life Patron of the Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II urged the players to demonstrate their allegiance to the club and be disciplined.
“Play heartily for the Club for your good. Do not focus on money. If money is your reason for being in Club, leave…Demonstrate your allegiance to the club,” he said during a joint meeting with the players, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) and the Technical Team of the Club.
He further assured them that all their needs will be addressed.
Kotoko will take on Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 15 before another against Bibiani Gold Stars.
