OLAG SHS to Represent Ghana in the 2023 Robofest World Championship
A group of five students from Our Lady of Grace Senior High School (OLAG SHS) in Mamponteng, Ghana have been selected to participate in the Robofest World Championship in Michigan, United States of America.
Led by Jennifer Emefa Agbedor, the team, Cyber-Mac will compete in various categories of the championship at Lawrence Technological University from May 9th to May 18th, representing Ghana on the global stage.
This is the second time Jennifer, Kathy Gyesey and Amy Ruth Doe-Addo will compete internationally, following their participation in Germany last year.
Together with new members Martha Naa Okailey-Afful and Frederick Appiagyei, the team is well-prepared and guided by Mr. Sampson Asiedu and Dr. Kwame Oteng Gyasi, with the goal of adding more laurels and glory to the school’s achievements.
The school’s participation in this global championship provides a perfect platform for students to develop and use analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as find solutions to problems. It is a great opportunity for students to develop their curiosity, research skills, and creativity, allowing them to put abstract concepts into practice.
