Chief Justice Commissions Kwadaso Circuit Court

Chief Justice of the Republic, His Lordship Kwasi Anin Yeboah, has commissioned the newly constructed ultramodern Circuit Court in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

It was commissioned on Monday 27th February 2023 in a short ceremony at the court premises. The occasion was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Richmond Agyenim Boateng, Caretaker Chief of the Edwenase Community, Nana Nkansah Ababio, Religious leaders, and staff of the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly and some members of the Judicial Service who accompanied the Chief Justice.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Justice underscored the need for justice delivery at the doorstep of the local people. He indicated the new Court House is in fulfillment of the vision and mandate of the Judicial Service to ensure access to justice delivery.

 

“This is in fulfillment of the mandate of the Judiciary and the Judicial Service of Ghana to ensure access to justice to the citizens and the vision to bring justice to their doorstep”.

 

His Lordship, Justice Anin Yeboah commended President Akufo Addo for paying attention to the needs of the Judicial Service by making funds available for the construction of new court houses across the country.

 

Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Richmond Agyenim Boateng in his brief remarks said the commissioning signifies the Akufo-Addo government’s commitment to the rule of law and access to justice.

 

“The establishment of this court is a testament of the government’s unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring access to justice for all

 

He said the Municipality is thankful to the government for given them “the fair share of the national cake”.

 

On his part, Nana Nkansah Ababio, called on the Judicial Service to administrator justice to all manner of persons irrespective of their financial status. He also pleaded with the court to consider the youth in the area for recruitment in case of a job vacancy.
