3 Arrested Over Murder Of Fulani Herdsman

The police in the Upper West region have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in the murder of a Fulani herdsman, Demo Jeti.

The three are John Dakurah, Numbuzie Chawinaa and Tankpare Sylvester.

They were arrested on August 30, 2022, at their hideout at Kuntaali.

According to the police, the deceased went on grazing with his cattle at Kuntala on the morning of July 1, 2022, but never returned.

The cattle, however, found their way back home.

The lifeless body of Demo was later found between Chari and Kuntaali villages and was deposited at the Wa regional hospital.
