Work On Boankra Inland Port To Commence Soon – CEO
The Chief Executive Officer for the Boankra Inland Port, Mr. Isaac Afum has said that work at the Boankra Inland port is yet to commence soon.
According to him, the contractor has started coming to the site and everything is in order for work to begin soon.
Speaking with Agudey on the Nkwantananso show, he said, his outfit has issued a letter asserting the readiness of the contractor with their machines on site to set the rolling.
He said that the project is in the care of Ashanti Port Services Limited.
Mr. Afum narrated that all monetary and contractual engagements have been made to see to the commencement of the project.
The government is still on the right path in constructing the railway lines to support the work of the inland port completely for perfect operations when the project is commissioned to the public.
He gave an assurance to the public that the company will not disappoint Ghanaians and Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II precisely. He mentioned that they will not let the company leave the site until they complete the project within the two years stipulated period.
He thanked his Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his good heart, kindness, and patience towards the construction of the project.
