Suame Demo Yields Results; Road Under Construction
It is exactly one week that the MP for Suame, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu was hooted and pelted with sachet water over the poor state of the Suame Road.
With Constant follow-ups on the issue by Opemsuo news correspondent, Adwoa Serwaa Yonkodo has reported a positive result that has erupted from the demonstration.
The Contractor since the incident happened has been consistent on the job as well as some kind of progress concerning the road construction.
Speaking to some of the residents, they emphasized the positive results their act has brought even though it had to take their seriousness to act the way they did in getting the Suame-Offinso stretch fixed.
They, therefore, urged the Contractor to double up his steps with the work to ease pressure and be open to traffic as early as possible.
Most of the residents we spoke to insisted that the circulation that some people called non-Suame residents to hoot and pelt the Honourable MP, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu with sachet water was untrue and have not regretted acting in that manner as it has yielded the results they wanted to see.
