Atwima Mponua: MP, Health Ministry Inspect Project At Tano Dumase
The ongoing Nursing College at Tano Dumase in the Atwima Mponua Constituency has been inspected by Member of Parliament of the area, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah, and some representatives from the Ministry of Health, assisted by the District Chief Executive.
When the Member of Parliament encountered the media, he was emphatic that healthcare is the major challenge that confronts the three Atwima Constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
According to Hon Asiamah, this Tano Dumase Community Health Training Center will help reduce overcrowding amongst nursing students at the centers as about 18 classroom block is completed for both males and females.
He commended President Akufo-Addo for initiating the Agenda 111 project which he says will boost healthcare across the country when completed. He said the Atwima Mponua is having its share which is currently ongoing at the capital, Nyinahin.
The Chief of Tano Dumase Community, Nana Agyare Boateng ll also showed his gratitude to the MP. Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah and DCE. Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo for the ongoing project cited in his community.
He appealed to the Health Ministry to expedite their activities to ensure timely completion of the project.
The team from Ministry of Health was led by the Acting Director of Nursing Training Institute Unit (NTIU) Mrs Rebecca Akorle. The institution when completed, is going to be the first of its kind in the entire three Atwima Districts.
