3 Trapped After Vehicle Fell Into Ditch
Three individuals got trapped in a Nissan Isuzu vehicle with registration number GS 746-17 at Adukrom Waterworks Junction in the Eastern Region.
The vehicle carrying foodstuffs and beverages veered into a ditch after its brakes failed.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the accident on September 2, 2025, happened around 1 pm.
“The distress accident call came in at 1:28 p.m. and at 1:39 p.m., the team led by ADO I Gilbert Amoako had rescued three (3) persons trapped in the Nissan Isuzu (GS 746-17) that had fallen into a ditch after a suspected brake failure,” it said in a statement.
The vehicle and its content have since been handed over to Akropong Police MTTD for further investigation.
