A/R: See Areas to be Affected by ECG’s October 8 Planned Maintenance
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has published a list of communities within the Ashanti Region to be affected by planned maintenance.
The exercise is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, to improve service delivery.
In a notice, it said that the exercise will result in a temporary power outage from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Affected areas include Kronom Cement, Boussie, Asuofua, Heman, Amoaman, Adankwame, Adugyama, Nketiah, Kokote, Abira, Namong, Barekese Headworks, Akyease Booster Station, Offinso, KCG, Ahenkro, Kodie, Apagya, Aduamoah, Denase, Akom, Mowire, Amoako, Kwamang, Nkwantakese, Boamang, Tetrem and surrounding areas.
It further apologised for any inconvenience that may arise out of the exercise.
