GMTF, Hungary Explore New Healthcare Partnership

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) is exploring new areas of cooperation with Hungary to help strengthen specialised healthcare delivery in Ghana.
This was during a meeting between GMTF Administrator, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, and the Hungarian Ambassador to Ghana, Tamas Endre Feher, to discuss the potential partnership.
According to the Trust Fund, Ambassador Feher expressed his commitment to connecting the GMTF with Hungarian manufacturers of medical and hospital equipment.
The move is premised on the understanding that better healthcare depends on having the right equipment, technology and infrastructure in place, the Fund noted.
The engagement is centred on bringing more expertise, technology and capacity into Ghana’s health system, and ultimately helping more patients access the specialised care they need here at home.
