A/R: ECG Announces Planned Maintenance on Wednesday

The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced a planned maintenance exercise in parts of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

In a notice issued on Monday, October 5, 2026, ECG said the exercise is aimed at improving service delivery but will result in a temporary power outage between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The affected areas include Tetrem, Soko, Boamang, Amoako, Osei Tutu College, Abusuakruwa, Abouhia, Angel Educational Complex, Konkromoase, Atasomanso, Apraman, Adum-Afrancho, Konkori, New Aduampong, Kentikyire and surrounding areas.

ECG apologised for the inconvenience the outage will cause to affected customers.
