MoH Announces Mop-Up Recruitment for Health Professionals

The Ministry of Health has announced a nationwide mop-up recruitment exercise to replace applicants who failed to report to their selected districts and facilities.

According to a statement signed by the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Tony Goodman, on October 3, 2026, the exercise is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. GMT.

The recruitment will fill a total of 432 vacancies.

Of the total, 429 slots are for Nursing Professionals, with 266 going to Teaching Hospitals, 133 to the Christian Health Association of Ghana and 30 to the Ghana Health Service.

The remaining 36 slots are for Pharmacy Professionals, comprising 5 Pharmacists and 31 Pharmacy Technicians.

The Ministry has directed all prospective applicants to apply through its official recruitment portal at https://mohrrecruitment.com and has wished applicants well ahead of the process.
