COCOBOD Sets Cocoa Producer Price at GH¢2,650 Per Bag for 2026/27 Season  

The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has announced the producer price for the 2026/2027 cocoa crop season.

Under the new price, a tonne of cocoa will sell at GH¢42,400.00, while a 64kg bag will go for GH¢2,650.00.

According to COCOBOD, this represents 71.18 percent share of the realized Gross Free On Board (FOB) price to farmers.

The new price takes effect from Friday, September 25, 2026.

The announcement sets the tone for purchases for the new crop season which begins in the coming weeks.
