GES Addresses Concerns Over Outstanding Salary Arrears of Teachers Recruited in 2024

The Ghana Education Service (GES) says salaries and arrears owed to teachers recruited in 2024 have been processed, but has set up a dedicated Help Desk to resolve individual cases requiring further verification.

This follows a petition from the Coalition of Unpaid Teachers concerning outstanding salary arrears and related matters.

In a press release dated September 8, 2026, and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, Management said that while records show payments have been processed, some cases may still need verification.

To facilitate prompt resolution, teachers with unresolved concerns have been encouraged to report to the Help Desk at GES HQ Room 305 with relevant supporting documents.
