GES Releases Official Contact Numbers For 2026/2027 School Placement Issues
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has activated official contact numbers to resolve challenges related to the 2026/2027 school placement exercise.
In a letter dated September 2, 2026, and signed by the Director for Schools and Instructions Division (Secondary), Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, for the Director-General, GES said the numbers have been provided to enable parents and guardians who may encounter challenges with the placement of their wards, as well as other placement-related concerns, to seek assistance.
The official contact numbers are 055 037 7388, 059 952 5926, 059 844 5898, 059 797 4847 and 055 855 5431.
The letter was addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, with the GES urging them to take note of the numbers and ensure they are made available to all District Education Directorates within their jurisdiction.
The management of GES said the activation of the numbers is part of arrangements for a smooth placement exercise for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Meanwhile, candidates can check their 2026 WASSCE results on their phones by dialling *714*123#, entering Agent Code 580, or via WhatsApp on 0595709604 for assistance.
