DVLA Announces Technical Difficulties With Vehicle Registration Platform

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced that its vehicle registration platform is currently experiencing technical difficulties.

In a public notice issued on September 1, 2026, the Authority said the glitch has affected its ability to process vehicle registration requests.

“Our technical team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the statement said.

The Authority has sincerely apologised to clients for any inconvenience the disruption may cause.

The DVLA urged the public to bear with it while efforts are underway to restore the platform.
