KMA Begins Pilot Of Digital Revenue System At Racecourse Market

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has begun a pilot programme for its revenue digitalisation agenda at the Racecourse Market and other roads within the Kumasi metropolis.

In a Facebook post, the Assembly said the pilot exercise started on Monday, August 17, 2026.

It said this is part of efforts by the Assembly to modernise and streamline its revenue collection system.

According to the Assembly, the exercise has so far been successful. It is therefore urging traders, businesses and the general public within the pilot areas to continue to comply with the new digital revenue system.

The digitalisation drive is aimed at improving efficiency, transparency and accountability in revenue mobilisation for the development of the metropolis.
