2023 AFCON: Find Jersey Numbers Of Black Stars
The jersey numbers of Chris Hughton’s 27-man squad have been unveiled less than ten days to the Cup of Nations tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.
Per the release, Ghana Premier League players Richmond Lamptey, Jonathan Sowah and Fatawu Hamid will wear the number 22, 27 and 17 jerseys respectively.
As Andrew Ayew wears number 10, Jordan Ayew will clad in the number 9 with Mohammed Kudus repping in number 20.
Hughton’s side has been in rigorous training for the past three days at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Aberankese in Kumasi for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament (AFCON).
The tournament begins on January 13 but the Black Stars will have their group stage opener against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2024, and take on Egypt four days later before their final group match against Mozambique on January 22.
