2022 WASSCE Candidates With Withheld Results Invited
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has invited 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) candidates whose results were withheld over various examination malpractices.
The invitation goes out to candidates in the Central, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East regions.
In December 2022 when the WASSCE results were released, the Council announced that the Entire Results of 117 candidates and the scripts of candidates from 179 schools in certain subjects had been withheld.
It said the decision to withhold them was linked to various examination irregularities.
In a notice on Friday, March 24, the Council said it was beginning investigations into the allegations on March 28 at its branch in Cape Coast for candidates living in the Central region.
It will end on March 30.
Meanwhile, its Sunyani branch will receive such candidates from the Ahafo, Bono and Bono East regions, also from March 28 to 30.
“Affected candidates are to visit www.waecgh.org and click on the withheld button for further details”.
The Council noted that a candidate’s failure to show up will not prevent it from passing a verdict.
