Yango Driver Allegedly Discovers Marijuana In Package He’s Delivering
A ride-hailing driver has allegedly found rolls of Marijuana concealed in a Diclolex Power Heat gel package handed down for delivery.
Ignorant of the content of the package, the Yango driver had taken it from two men his customer directed him to.
He was supposed to deliver it to the customer who had requested his service at a hostel but decided to open it up on his way.
To his surprise, the content was not a power heat tube but rolls of marijuana and a locally made candy (nkate cake).
Sharing the shocking experience in a video which also featured the alleged package, he said, “Initially I thought it was deep heat {balm}. When I opened it, here, there are four rolls of marijuana,”
Assessing further the package in the video, a University of Ghana Hospital stamp could be spotted with the inscription, “massage to the affected area 2x daily.”
He expressed concerns about the customer’s decision to keep him in the dark on the actual content of the delivery package despite its potential implications and sought views of social media users on what to do about it.
“If I come across the police and they find this on me, what will I say to them? What should I do? Should I cancel the trip and throw it away?”
