Former Accra Lions centre-forward Yahaya Mohammed will now play for Albanian top-tier club KF Egnatia.
This follows an agreement between the player and the club confirmed by both clubs in separate statements on Friday, August 23, 2024.
Accra Lions called the move an “immediate” one.
“We are pleased to announce the immediate transfer of Yahaya Mohammed to Albanian Champions KF Egnatia.”
Rrogozhine will be home to the 19-year-old for the next three years.
“The club is pleased to announce that a new ‘fighter’ has boarded the ‘Plane of Champions. Mohammed Yahaya has signed for three seasons thus embarking on a long journey with us,” KF Egnatia announced in their statement.
It added, “President Agim Demrozi has welcomed the 19-year-old striker who comes from Ghana.”
Meanwhile, the Lions have wished him well.
