Why A-Plus Has Kept Mute Despite Info on Ahmed Suale Murder

Retired Hip-life musician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus claims he has some information that could help solve the jigsaw surrounding the murder of undercover journalist Ahmed Suale.

The politician is willing to give away the information; however, on the condition that he be furnished with a security detail- a demand premised on what he says is from an experience.

In a Facebook Live broadcast on July 14, A-Plus recollected how a police officer gave him away to the mastermind behind the killing of five individuals after assisting with some information a few years ago.

“About two or three years ago, I got a hint that police had gone to kill five people around Gomoah Fetteh. This went viral. News articles reported that the five were killed by the police after they attempted to attack a chief in Gomoah Fetteh.

“Two suspects survived. After two weeks I got all the details and evidence about the incident and sent it to the IGP and told him this was a clear case of murder. I held a meeting with the IGP and the then CID boss, Kan Yeboah. After everything, ten minutes later, I received a call from the one who set the five up to be killed.”

Suspecting Kan Yeboah was behind his beetrayal, he noted that this is what has informed his decision to keep silent about what he knows about the death of Ahmed all this while.

“This is the reason why if I will give out any information about Ahmed Suale, the police will have to give me a security detail. The last time I gave you the information you failed to protect me.”

He is willing to resist all efforts to coerce him into speaking until he is given the needed protection.

“If the police call me to give information, I will take them to court for them to give me protection before I give them any information. I know this street, Kwame A Plus is not an ordinary person. I will give you anything you want but you will have to protect me. Anything less than that don’t call me.”

The Police have since invited him to assist in the investigations.
