We’re Solidly Behind Otumfuo- SDA Pastors
The leadership of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has unanimously reaffirmed its unflinching allegiance and support for the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Presidents of the four unions of the church across the country, during a courtesy visit on April 8, 2026, assured His Majesty of their endless prayers.
“We are solidly behind Otumfuo with prayers seeking God’s blessings and good health for him to continue bringing pride to Asanteman and Ghana, as he’s always done. The SDA Church is fully behind him and will do whatever is needed to promote Asanteman.”
The clergy deems its solidarity as the least they can offer for the formidable environment created for the thriving of the church by the King.
New leaders
The delegation also introduced itself as the new leadership for the church in Ghana.
Pastor Jonathan Owusu was introduced as the President of the Mid Ghana Union, Pastor Adeefe Kwankye as the President of South West Union, Col (Rtd) Pastor Peter Nyarko Duodu as the President of South East Ghana Union Mission and Pastor Dr Timothy Yeboah as the President of Accra City Conference.
