We’ll Always Support You; Asantehene Assures Businesses
The Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has reassured corporate organisations in the country of the needed support and the environment to flourish.
His Majesty recognizes that economic growth and development lie with these businesses and thereby this commitment.
Speaking at the culmination of his 25th anniversary at the Manhyia Palace on May 12, 2024, Otumfuo said, “We also pay tribute to corporate Ghana for a welcome partnership in the quest for development of our nation. Although we hold our government accountable for the development of our nation, in reality, it’s corporate Ghana we can look for real development.”
The Asantehene posited that their activities are the sources of jobs for the youth and wealth for the nation.
“Your success is what will create the jobs our people need and generate the wealth we need. That is why we will always prioritise support for your endeavours to overcome obstacles in your path and create an environment conducive to your success.”
The Dwabrem grounds of the Manhyia Palace on Sunday, May 12, 2024, witnessed the culmination of the Silver Jubilee celebration of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
At the event were Asantehene’s wife, Lady Julia Osei Tutu, Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, and traditional authorities within Asanteman.
The event also drew dignitaries from all parts of the country and beyond including the country’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Prime Minister for Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Hon Keith Rowley, his wife, Mrs Sharon Rowley, the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Second Lady, H.E Samira Bawumia, the Awomefia of Anlo State, Togbe Siri II, Ga Mantse Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru, and many others from the corporate sector.
